PRIVATE ACTING LESSON
The hour-long session begins with lateral thinking, 10-20 mins. These are mental “warm ups” consisting of riddles, puns and picture puzzles. The remaining time we work on monologues (memorization required), sketches/improv, make-up, writing, or even camera work, depending on the student. I will always yield to what the student wants to do, because of my 40+ years experience in the Arts, I can help in any discipline the student chooses.
For ages 5-18, hour-long sessions via Zoom or in-person, $100/hour.
Call or email Michael directly for scheduling or more information, 206-790-8583 or michael@sneakycat.org.
Classes Coming Soon
Story Drama – Ages 8 & up
Step into the story with the guidance of Sneaky Cat Professor Michael. Using theatre games and improvisation, the Sneaky Cat student will learn how to create wonderful stories using nothing but their imagination. We will make planned story stops along the way, first we will go on an imaginary safari to save the White Lion, she has a thorn in her paw! 2nd stop will be the isle of Fairy Tales and visit the Snow White and the 7 Dwarves. 3rd stop, we will make our own story. More stops are planned and where they will learn there may be no limitation to their imagination.
Theatre Boot Camp – Ages 8 & up
For the beginner or seasoned pro, Sneaky Cat Professor Michael will show Sneaky Cat students the “ins” and “outs” of basic theatre skills. Through a series of theatre and improvisation games, participants will be exposed to story building exercises, character development, and objectives. These techniques are the basic building blocks for performing. A showcase will be presented at the end, whether it is a scene, a song or a theatre game, kids will learn how to perform in no time!

Acting I – Ages 12 – 18
Memorizing lines is the first and easiest part of acting. The true test of an actor’s skill is how you interpret the text with the inflection of your voice or the movement of your body. This scene and monologue study class will sharpen your acting skills with an action-based approach to acting. We’ll dive into the text to improve your understanding of a scene and, from there, explore your various acting choices. The only limitation is your imagination. Taught by Michael
LoSasso.
Sneaky Cats & Bunnies – Ages 4 – 8
Using problem solving puzzles, will learn focus, listening and attention through the safety of games and stories. First off, will go on an imaginary safari to help save the White Lion, she has a thorn in her paw. We will also create our own stories (using Fairy Tales) and find challenges to work thru together as a team. These skills will develop individual and social needs, the perfect introduction into kindergarten! A performance may happen, depending on how much boogie woogie we can stir up!
INTENSIVES
Our “intensives” are week-long performance camps that challenge every actor’s creativity and team-building skills.

The main focus of the intensive is the process: pushing participant’s boundaries so that they can discover their own gifts…self-esteem, problem solving and commitment.
All intensives culminate in a free performance for family and friends.
The goal of the intensive is to mount a unique play written, directed and staged by the students.
Past plays we’ve premiered include:
- THE GREEK MYTH OVERTURE
- ROBIN HOOD – HOLD THE TIGHTS
- SLUMBER PARTY OF NO RETURN
- A NIGHT OF TOO MANY SCENES
